Transportation Programmatic Support

Our experts provide assistance in the areas of planning, budget management, workload forecasts, cost justification and control, and interdepartmental coordination of transportation functions and services. We evaluate client requirements and assist with developing management and operational plans to meet internal objectives as well as to achieve compliance with the regulations.

DOT Regulatory Compliance Assessments

Our services are unique in that we combine pre-audit compliance assessments with post-audit remedial corrective recommendations. Our staff is experienced in DOE, DOT, Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations, and health and safety requirements for shippers, motor carriers and drivers of commercial motor vehicles. This experience combination provides SCG the unique capability to thoroughly understand and evaluate all compliance aspects for our clients. SCG staff is experienced in both establishing and assessing transportation safety programs.

DOT Regulatory Compliance Training

SCG understands the transportation regulatory compliance environment and we believe training is the key to achieving compliance. Our staff supports the DOE Transportation Management Division (TMD) training program. This support includes classroom training as well as developing requirement definitions, and course design and development. Training expertise includes instruction on the following courses:

Hazardous Waste Identification and Classification

SCG understands that proper determination and classification of hazardous waste is essential to ensuring compliance with appropriate EPA, DOT, and State regulatory requirements. Our staff supports our clients by determining requirements related to hazardous waste identification, assignment of hazard class/shipping description, packaging identification and providing regulatory information to support the classification of hazardous waste/mixed waste for storage and transportation.
